The end of term brings our community graduations where we come together to celebrate all of the volunteering that has been done over the last year.
Our Clondalkin Group graduated in the gorgeous North Clondalkin Library with the family and friends. We had Siobhan and Ed from Peamount Hospital present what the work that they did means to the residents in St Brids. We also had James Casserly and his mum speak and present the certificates and pins to our members. It was a wonderful evening celebrating empathy and kindness.
Castleknock, River Valley and DCU and Giving celebrated in Talent Garden, DCU Alpha Campus. Nancy, Activities Coordinator Nephin Nursing Home, Baggie, Manager in Child Vision, Allison; Manager Fairview StepDown Unit, Margaret; DCU Crafty Ladies and Daire Keogh; DCU President all spoke about the work that each group does and what they have given to their communities.
Congratulations to all on an excellent year of volunteering.
