Localise Integration Programme
Our Integration programme focuses on engaging foreign nationals in community work in their areas. It allows local people to see the real benefits of a caring multicultural society by demonstrating the positive contribution that new cultures can make within Irish communities.
Since its launch in 2007, we have members from Poland, Slovakia, Mauritius, Mexico, Germany, India, Romania, Hungary, Togo, Nigeria, Rwanda, Somalia, USA, China and Russia.
"We see this programme as a unique way to tackle racism head on, particularly in working class areas, because we have Irish and foreign national volunteers working together to improve their area so everybody involved benefits" - Derek Cleary - Director of Service for Localise.

Please visit each groups' individual pages to see what some of our integration members are up to and examples of some of the great work they've been carrying out!
