Peace Corps - Localise is a youth and community development organisation with 38 years of experience in community service and volunteerism. Our Localise Programme directly engages young people in positive community work in their local areas; it challenges them to care, not only for themselves, but for others, and it inspires them to take action and learn through service.
Our organisation is committed to creating an environment in which all young people are given an opportunity to use their talents and skills in the service of others. We believe this should be a core part of main stream second and third level education, as it would develop positive active citizens and caring professionals who can make positive, worthwhile contributions to their communities throughout their lives.
